Why?
Because blindly trusting a coach can be expensive.
Dismissing clients who ask for proof feels wrong.
And all too often, "trust" comes with a catch:
— "Trust me" (but only if you pay upfront)
— Hefty price tags (without proof of success)
— Glowing testimonials (often traded for favors)
Misdirection like this annoys the shit out of me.
So, I urge you to do something about it.
Here's what you need to do:
— Ask the coach for references
— Insist on speaking with old clients
— If they push back, take it as a red flag
— Real testimonials will withstand scrutiny
— Verify the coach's success stories yourself
